When I worked with him….it was always a pleasure. He treated everyone with respect, he was on the ball with production, and he always greeted either with a smile or professionalism. I would work for Kevin for FREE anytime if he needed me to. That’s how much I loved Kevin.

I worked as a PA in the past and worked with Kevin several times at Warner Bros. He was very kind, thoughtful, supportive, and smart, and really went out of his way to make everyone feel very welcome. Hands down the best PA I’ve ever worked with and one of the BEST human beings I’ve ever worked with!

The days were very hot, 95- 100 degrees. He made sure that everyone was comfortable. and made sure we were all drinking water. People can get very irritated in conditions like that, but Kevin took care of us, about 12 BG. Thanks Kevin, i would work with you anytime!

I received a warm welcome from the principals and prod that remembered me from season 1
And i began my day by introducing myself to Kevin when he gave us our vouchers at which time he sent us to breakfast before Wardrobe,Hair and Make up
We spent the better part of that week with him playing trivia games, talking about various topics when he had time in between him running BG back and forth to set along with many other tasks he was doing
I will say over 3 decades of BG work playing regulars on dozens of shows, stand in ,and also working prod like on Seinfeld and Artificial Intelligence to mention a couple
I have have met many good people on set from all depts
I would have to say Kevin has to be 1 of a handful i would describe as being the most conscientious people i have worked with
If i may i will share one example from that week
A friend i met on that shoot needed one more Union voucher to join the Union and i told him if i may help him in a up coming prod i had a hand in helping cast i would
When we showed up for work on our final day Kevin had his 3rd voucher in hand and he has been in the Union ever since then
All i have is gratitude for Kevin for how he took care of all of us
Many thanks Kevin

I have worked with Kevin on numerous shows. Never once not even once did I see Kevin treat anyone poorly or with Bias.
This is another side of background work you can come interview me about. “Working with non professional background actors”
Most likely this person had a bad experience due to their own attitude or actions. It’s possible they got kicked off set or sent home or did not get to work on a show again due to their own self destructive behavior.
They are most likely here to “get even”. This is how background actors get a bad reputation and why to Kevin’s comment would give some justification to not treat us as competent.
I also have another friend who worked somewhere around 20 episodes of Perry Mason. I asked him once hey did you see Kevin on set and while he wasn’t sure who I was talking about I showed him a picture and he had nothing but great things to say.
To me there is a range of people who come to work in Background. I am a military Veteran, I was an Arabic Cryptologic Linguist with a top secret clearance. Yes I learned Arabic from scratch in just about a year. I have my bachelors degree, I achieved a high level in the corporate world with my knowledge and work ethic.
I am by far not uneducated or inexperienced in life but eventually I realized I wanted to do something else. So here I am. But I have come to know that there are some background who show up to, sleep, hide, or just don’t listen. I’ve seen background actors get sent home and kicked off set. I’ve seen them argue with PAs or lie about things.
All that to say in all of my life experience Kevin is an outstanding professional. I have worked with PAs who are not nice and before I even give them a reason to , they treat me poorly without knowing anything about me because they don’t care.
Kevin is one of the few PAs that when I see them on set I’m glad because I know we’re all
in good hands. And when I see other PAs that are great I am sure to let them know where I worked with them and how great they are.
If you disagree with me I’d love to talk about it come find me on Instagram @scottyvofficial or on Facebook. I use my real name because I don’t need to hide behind a keyboard. Have a great day!

I can say, without any doubt, that Kevin has been the most patient and opened PA that I have ever worked with. He took his time to listen to each one of the BG, with taking in consideration the ethnicity and the origin of people. He even had enough patience while trying to understand my English, as I am a native person from France with a very strong French accent. Kevin is a good guy. I wish to any BG to cross his path on a set, because, starting a day with Kevin on a set, is already a good day at the second he is introducing himself to you.
I’m conscious that we can’t like/love everyone, and I respect that, but even if it is the case with Kevin, I don’t think that he deserves to be qualified as a “ little Hitler “.
Mr White, I’m hoping that you’ll be enough lucky to work with Kevin once again, to maybe understand that you have been confused with someone else.
With all my respect.
Sylvain.

You’re right and wrong at the same time.
This is it how it is in Los Angeles. Office PA don’t step foot on set but set PA Would defibetly do a lot of office PA work on set after the BG are gone prepping with the 2nd AD for tomorrows shoot. I’m sorry you didn’t get to answer these questions. You’ll get a chance next time.

Also, from what I’ve heard working on Perry Mason wasn’t a walk in a park on set either. Standing for long periods of times not moving in big crowds with smoke and little time for breaks. So I get why you are agitated and want take it on the PA but please be more cautious about your choice if words and be a little more professional in yiyr comments.
