The Super Mario Bros (animated film) in theaters April 5: The iconic video game IP leaps onto the big screen with Mario (Chris Pratt) as he travels through Mushroom Kingdom with princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Toad (Keegan-Michael Key) to find his brother Luigi (Charlie Day) and save the world from the ruthless Bowser (Jack Black).

12. Tiny Beautiful Things (mini-series) streams on Hulu April 7: Based on a bestselling collection of the same name, this Hello Sunshine-produced series follows Claire (Kathryn Hahn) a floundering writer who becomes a revered advice columnist as her own life is in pieces.

Paint (comedy film) in theaters April 7: The quirky story centers on Carl Nargle (Owen Wilson), Vermont’s #1 public TV painter who has hosted his own painting show for almost three decades, becoming a sensation thanks to his painting style, soft voice, and incredible perm. However, his life takes a turn when the TV station hires a younger and better painter who steals everything and everyone Carl loves.

The Last Thing He Told Me (limited series) streams on Apple April 14: #1 New York Times Bestselling author Laura Dave joins Academy Award-winner Josh Singer to bring her gripping book about a woman named Hannah (Jennifer Garner) who is forced to forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter when her husband mysteriously disappears.
15. Barry (dark dramedy) season 4 streams on HBO April 16: The acclaimed series centered on hitman-turned-actor Barry (Bill Hader) bows out with one last installment.

17. Mrs. Davis (thriller series) streams on Peacock April 20: Things get wild when a nun named Simone (Betty Gilpin) goes against “Mrs. Davis,” the world’s most powerful Artificial Intelligence.
18. Dead Ringers (thriller series) streams on Prime Video April 21: How could a project led by Oscar-winner Rachel Weisz get better? Add another one of her! This modern take on David Cronenberg’s film of the same name sees Weisz take on the roles deftly played by Jeremy Irons: twin gynecologists.
19. Love & Death (limited series) streams on HBO Max April 27: Elizabeth Olsen trades in her WandaVision magic for a darker dip in the true crime pond. The talent sinks her teeth into Christian housewife Candy Montgomery, who flipped into a merciless ax-murderer. Producers David E. Kelley and Nicole Kidman promise an unbelievable ride.
20. Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret (dramedy film) in theaters April 28: Judy Blume’s 1970 classic coming-of-age 1970 novel will now reach a whole new audience. The story follows Margaret Simon (Abby Ryder Fortson), a sixth-grader whose family moves from New York City to the New Jersey suburbs, as she explores life’s biggest questions.
