Transform Your Photos and Videos in Our Mobile App
Upload and edit your self tapes, headshots and more all in one place with our Advanced Media feature, now available on the Casting Networks iOS app! This premium feature gives actors such as yourself more flexibility to use existing photos and videos or take them on the fly and make touch ups in the app as you see fit. That way you can spend more time browsing auditions and focusing on your craft.
How to transform your photos
Upon adding a photo or video to your Media Bank, Profile, Media Request, or Casting Billboard Submission, you will be brought into editing mode.
In editing mode, you can transform your photos by adjusting the aspect ratio or cropping your photos. After transforming, you will have several ways to touch up your photo, including:
- Adding filters
- Adjusting the brightness, contrast and focus of your photo
- Decorating your photo with stickers
- Inserting text overlays with the ability to change the font, text design, color and alignment
- Choosing a photo overlay
- Adding a frame
You can even use the brush to add touch-ups or draw on your photo. And if you’d rather just keep it fast and simple, try the Magic Update to auto-adjust the brightness, saturation and more.
Once you’re happy with your photo, click the checkmark to save and upload it to your Media Bank.
How to edit your videos
You also can edit the videos you upload to Casting Networks. Record your video or select an existing video from your iOS device or Media Bank to edit. A preview of your video will appear for you to confirm your choice.
The video editing menu functions like the photo editing menu, but with different options. You can trim and transform your video in several ways. This includes:
- Adjusting your video’s aspect ratio, levels (brightness, saturation) and focus
- Rotating your video
- Applying filters to your video
- Adding stickers
- Providing text and text design
- Adding a frame or an overlay
- Using the brush to draw on your video
Once you’re happy with your edits, click the checkmark to process and add your new video.
Premium members will be able to take full advantage of the Advanced Media feature to add customized photos and videos to their Media Bank whenever they want. Basic members will only be able to use this feature when they have been sent a Media Request.
